My oldest boy (2 years old) loves crayons and breaks them
often. =) So I decided to do something with the broken pieces. This activity
can be done with the help of a child but adult supervision is a must.
This
is what I did:
1. Peel all broken crayons.
2. Break into small pieces and fit into a fun mold. Similar colors
together are awesome but rainbow crayons are the best!
3. Melt in the microwave (I did 1 minute initially then 30
second intervals – until completely melted, about 3 minutes total for the molds
I chose).
4. Wait for them to dry and ta-da! New crayons! =)
My LO loved them! I hope you do too. Enjoy!
